Womens Softball Championship 2022

The NCAA Championships Oversight Committee announced the approval of a new scheduling format for the Womens College World Series that will begin with the 2022 edition in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. Two major changes were made to the WCWS with teams who lose on Day 1 of the event no longer being required to play a doubleheader. The 2021 Womens European Championship served as a qualifier for the World Games 2022 which will be held in Birmingham Alabama in 2022. The winner of the tournament will represent Europe in the 2022 World Games.
